Hoarded House Clearance Case Study In Northampton:

Good afternoon,

I have a friend who is suffering with compulsive hoarding, she has recently confided in me and asked for my help to get her home back to a livable state.

I have never visited her home before until now and couldn’t believe the way she has been living for so long. The house is on a farm and has four bedrooms with an attached double garage and out house.

She has had a lot of dogs in the past causing a stench throughout her home, these have been removed, and she won’t be getting them back. She will be living with me during the process of having her home cleared, once that is done I will help her redecorate and refurnish ready for her to move back into.

She will be moving in with me next Sunday and will have removed everything she wants to keep by then. We need your specialists to go into her home and completely clear it of everything, all carpets, furniture, appliances, rubbish, clutter, junk etc, everything.

The garage and out building is where she began hoarding first, I haven’t been able to look in them as they are that full, she says they are filled with tools, furniture, boxes of ornaments, clothes etc, everything is to be cleared from these too.

In the surrounding garden, there is a large amount of broken furniture, bags of rubbish, old appliances etc, will it be possible to have these removed too?

Hi, I need to arrange a specialist clearance for my late uncles three-bedroom flat in Walsall.

My uncle passed away last month, I am the sole inheritor of his flat and need to have it cleared in order to sell it.

Good morning, I need a quote to have a seven bedroom country house and double garage cleared in the Dudley area.

The house has been left in disrepair for over a year as myself and family members had no idea what to do with it after the passing of our great gran.

This house was once a family home to my great gran, great grandad and all their children.

Good Afternoon, I am requesting a quote to have a three bedroom bungalow house clearing service in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

My mum who has recently moved into residential care, lived in the house for over 20 years, she has been a compulsive hoarder for as long as I can remember and has left the house floor to ceiling with rubbish and junk.

I have removed as much of her stuff as physically possible (things that were within reach), she has told me that she has a jewellery box in her main bedroom at the back which she wants to be kept, this room can’t be accessed.

The only accessible rooms are the lounge, the kitchen and the bathroom, the hallway leading to the bedrooms has been completely filled with piles of rubbish and junk.

The rubbish and junk is covered in webs and dust.

My mum has been hoarding for such a long time, I can only advise on rooms I have seen, the worst seems to be the hallway leading to the bedrooms, this is floor to ceiling, the kitchen has empty food packaging covering the floors and bench tops, all the appliances need to be removed too as they are very old.

The lounge is where my mum has lived from, there is a single electric bed and mattress, a three-piece sofa suite, a large cabinet, a coffee table, a small folding dining table and a sideboard, there is also a huge amount of ornaments, glass ware, and obviously rubbish piled high.

I would appreciate it if your team could donate anything that can be reused.

We are looking to get the bungalow into a salable state, everything needs to go including appliances and carpets.

Good Afternoon, my friend has lived in her home in xxxxx for over ten years, she sadly passed away last month, I am now tasked with having her home cleared.

For as long as she lived in her home, she hoarded, everything from old newspapers to books.

Its a small two bedroom bungalow, though its small it will be a big job to undertake, the only rooms accessible is the entryway leading to a lounge that is accessible, the rest of the rooms are full with clutter and the hallways leading to them are also blocked due to clutter.

I had tried to offer her help over the years, but it got to the point where she would stop inviting me around as she felt uneasy and put on the spot when help was offered.
