Free House Clearance In Felton & Charity Donations

We were recently contacted by a family in Felton who needed a full house clearance following the passing of a relative. The property had been in the family for over 50 years and contained a wide range of antiques, collectibles, and general household goods. The family requested that valuable items be identified, and as much as possible be donated to charity.

Client’s Request

The family wanted the entire house, including the attic, garage, and garden shed, to be cleared. They also asked us to look out for personal documents, old photographs, and any sentimental keepsakes.

The House Clearance Process

Living Room & Dining Area

The living room contained a mix of traditional and mid-century furniture, including a beautifully carved oak sideboard, a vintage record player, and a collection of crystal glassware. In the dining area, we discovered a set of Edwardian dining chairs and a mahogany table, all in excellent condition.

Bedrooms & Attic

The bedrooms held a variety of furniture and personal items, including an elegant Art Deco dressing table and a collection of porcelain figurines. The attic was packed with old wooden chests, one of which contained vintage military medals, letters, and photographs—items that the family was grateful to recover.

Garage & Garden Shed

The garage held an assortment of tools, vintage fishing equipment, and an old bicycle from the 1950s. The garden shed contained cast iron planters, terracotta pots, and various gardening tools, many of which were still in good condition and suitable for donation.
