The House Clearance Process
Main Living Areas & Bedrooms
The living room featured a mix of mid-century and traditional furniture, including a well-preserved teak sideboard and a collection of vintage china teacups. In the bedrooms, we uncovered a cedarwood chest filled with old family documents, photographs, and a selection of vintage jewelry, which we set aside for the client.
Kitchen & Dining Room
The kitchen contained a variety of quality cookware, some of which the client chose to keep. A solid oak dining table with matching chairs was in excellent condition, so we arranged for a local charity to collect it. We also discovered a collection of cutlery with silver-plated handles, which the client decided to sell.
Outbuildings & Attic
The outbuildings contained several old gardening tools, including an antique cast-iron bench that we purchased from the client. The attic revealed a collection of 1950s comics and a set of binoculars from World War II, both of which the client had forgotten about and was delighted to reclaim.
