She lived there for over 40 years, so there’s a mix of antique furniture, collectibles, and general household items. I’ve already taken the sentimental belongings, but I want everything else removed. The House Clearance in Innerleithen
We arrived early in the morning and met with the client to confirm which items they wanted to keep. Once that was clarified, we began the clearance, starting with the living room.
The property contained a mix of antique and modern furnishings, so we carefully sorted everything into separate categories for resale, donation, or disposal. The antique pieces were packed securely for transport, while all usable modern household goods were set aside for donation to a local charity shop.
The kitchen contained various high-end appliances, many of which were in excellent condition. These were sorted for resale, while everyday kitchenware such as plates and mugs were boxed up for charity.
The bedrooms had large wardrobes full of clothing, including designer pieces. Some items were suitable for resale, while others were donated. We also found vintage textiles and Scottish tartan blankets, which were valuable enough to set aside for sale.
The attic and garage took additional time to clear, as they contained a mix of tools, old paperwork, and miscellaneous household items. Any personal documents were returned to the client, and the garage tools were either sold or donated to a local community project.
By the afternoon, the house was completely cleared, swept, and left in a tidy condition, ready for sale.

They handled everything with great care, ensuring that valuable items were separated and as much as possible was donated instead of going to waste. The whole process was fast, professional, and stress-free. I couldn’t have asked for a better service.”
