Customer Requirements
“My uncle’s house in Peebles needs a full clearance. He was an avid collector, so the house is packed with books, ornaments, and furniture. I don’t live nearby, so I need a professional team to handle everything. I’d like any personal documents or family photos to be set aside, but everything else can be removed.”

The House Clearance in Peebles
We arrived in the morning and met with the client, who had a few last-minute items they wanted to keep. Once these were set aside, we began the clearance, working room by room.
The living room contained a variety of antique and modern furniture, which we carefully sorted. The more valuable items were set aside for resale, while practical household goods were earmarked for donation.
The study was filled with books, old documents, and collectibles. We boxed up valuable and antique books for sale, while general reading material was donated to a local charity shop.
The bedrooms contained a mixture of furniture, clothing, and personal effects. We ensured that sentimental items, including old photographs and letters, were safely stored for the client.
The loft and garage took extra time due to the volume of stored items. We uncovered vintage tools, a collection of brass ornaments, and an old military trunk, all of which were set aside for sale. Any unusable or broken items were responsibly recycled.
By mid-afternoon, the house was fully cleared, swept, and left tidy, ready for the next stage of the process.
Client Review
“Irv and his team provided an outstanding service from start to finish. They handled everything with care and efficiency, and I was really impressed with their attention to detail. They even found old family photographs I hadn’t seen in years. It was such a relief to have the house cleared quickly and professionally, and I’d highly recommend them to anyone needing a house clearance.”
