Free House Clearance In Seahouses & Charity Donations

We were recently contacted by a client in Seahouses who needed a full house clearance for their late father’s coastal cottage. The property, located near the harbour, had been in the family for decades and contained a mix of antique furniture, fishing memorabilia, and everyday household items. The bedrooms had a mix of mid-century and traditional furniture, including a vintage brass bed frame, an Art Deco dressing table, and various maritime-themed ornaments. Some items were donated, while others were passed on to a collector specializing in nautical antiques.

Garage & Fishing Equipment

The garage contained a lifetime’s collection of fishing gear, including wooden lobster creels, vintage reels, and a brass ship’s bell. We arranged for the more valuable pieces to be sold through a specialist, while the remaining functional fishing gear was donated to a local angling club.
